  • 10 years experience as a teaching professional
  • Professional training – David Leadbetter trained and certified 1996-1999
  • Students- beginners to Tour professionals

Trevor started teaching golf for a living in 1996. He was recruited by David Leadbetter, himself, to train and teach under the watchful eye of David and his senior staff. After becoming a certified instructor at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, Trevor taught in both the Palm Springs and Las Vegas academies for a term of three years. He then went out on his own and branded his own teaching business- ProMotion golf instruction- currently located at Dragon Ridge Country Club, Henderson, Nevada.

Since leaving the Leadbetter Academy, Trevor has succeeded in growing his reputation and business slowly through word of mouth. Currently Trevor works with numerous top amateurs and professionals from around the South West U.S.

Trevor’s strongest attribute is being able to give a lesson that is suitable to the individual he is working with. He can vary from using simple imagery and fundamental instruction with higher handicaps, and then have the experience to be very technical and precise when working with top amateurs or professionals. With either student, Trevor has a plan for improvement that is individually suited. “I explain what needs to happen to affect the ball flight, then I expand on what will need to change and how that should feel so my student gets a clear picture of the process and the desired end result. At the same time, I make a point not to overload my students with information that does not pertain to the task at hand. Slow steady improvement is the only formula for success.”

Most recently, Trevor was named the Best Instructor 2006 by Vegas Golfer Magazine at the Vegas Golfer Fairway Awards. It was a great honor as he topped other good teachers, Butch Harmon and Mike Davis.
